MSC builds laboratories in Central Africa

The laboratories, located in Central Africa, will be dedicated to research in the agri-food sector. The country's Ministry of Agriculture collaborated on the project, and the Minister himself recently attended the inauguration of the facilities along with other local authorities. This represents a commitment to the region's development through investment in knowledge and innovation.

MSC Greenhouses collaborated with Globaltec Ingeniería throughout the design and construction process of its laboratories. MSC contributed its extensive experience in designing structures that, while primarily used for agriculture and livestock, have proven highly versatile and adaptable to other applications. The Navarre-based firm was responsible for the design and construction of the laboratories' structural framework and roof. Globaltec Ingeniería, for its part, built the interiors, completed the finishing touches, and made the final adjustments for the specific use of laboratories.

Starting with a structure inspired by the traditional multi-span building primarily used for agricultural purposes, IMA-MSC has been able to erect this structure that meets all the laboratory requirements in areas such as electrical installations and sanitation. Assembly was relatively quick and easy thanks to the greenhouse's own assembly system, which, by eliminating the need for welding and using bolted fasteners, accelerates the construction process and reduces costs.
